A friend of mine sent me this URL:

https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/uk/travellers-on-stranded-trains-warned-against-trespassing-on-the-tracks-36665587.html

(You can make the picture bigger by clicking on it.)

My question is where the picture is showing? I can't find anywhere in Quail that has that combination of 3rd rail and unelectrified track.

In the great tradition of newspapers, the image isn't remotely near where the location of the story. Merseyside and the low-lying parts of Lancashire and Greater Manchester actually got off pretty lightly with the weather last week compared to most of the country.

Thanks, all. I knew it wasn't near Lewisham, but managed to miss Hunts Cross when looking at Quail.
