Playing the 2009 timetable on Oxford. Have tried both 0000 start and 0445 start. Trains entering from Banbury start off at 75mph but then get stuck at 23mph falling to 8mph then fluctuating at various speeds, see 4O52 and 4Q11. Trains entering from Didcot start at 75mph but again then fall and get stuck at 54mph, again then fluctating at speeds unrealistic to the simulation settling around 65mph. There are no TSRs or weather issues. Possible a bug around level crossings? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Have tried both 0000 start and 0445 start.Having just had a look, Oxford PSB is one of the few sims that have custom driving rules for freight trains, since the last loader update (to 4.6.11), the custom driving rules have been behaving oddly, and so far have been unable to see why it is behaving the way it is, it has been logged on mantis (#0019726) Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Banners88 |

Thanks MarkC. While tinkering to see if it was me doing something wrong I altered the 'Class of Service' option from 'Use Rules' to 'Goods' which seems to semi sort the problem. Passenger trains remain unaffected. Is there anything I can do to continue enjoying the sim until this is fixed rather than changing every freight train individually as it enters the sim? PS - when something is logged in Mantis what happens to fix the item raised? Log in to reply |

Can you do it step by step?Open up the sim with the selected timetable (best start paused) open up the timetable window (F4) goto the tab labeled Driving and delete all the rules, exit the tt windows then click on the menu option "timetable" and select "save as" type in a name to save the timetable. exit the sim and restart the sim selecting the timetable you just saved (it should appear under the name you gave it). That ticket will also show to the developer in the list of things to do. We don't currently have a good way of linking back to the forum that something has been done, except by including the change log in the release notes for an updated simulation/timetable. Thank you. Apologies if I am being ignorant. Is there a way of finding out when these problems have been fixed, without looking through the forum? It is currently preventing me from playing the Oxford sim, especially as I have paid for the product. Log in to reply |
