Text in the York Manual states the following:

"There is slotting on the signals at Hambleton West in the Up direction and Hambleton East in the Down direction. These relate to the crossings and will illuminate white if the crossings are open to rail traffic and a route is set."

I'm playing In the sim, and the roundels at these locations are permanently illuminated. Is it the case that this feature has been disabled?

I'm running the latest Loader (4.8) and the timetable is 15-10-09 (0000 start), Standard mode, IECC ARS, era: 2011 & earlier.

Originally it was thought the roundels applied to Philip Lane crossing but after the manual was written we were informed it was actually for Gascoigne Wood to use the LOS on the Up Hull. I've updated the manual to reflect this. Apologies for missing this with the sim update.

Thanks Goeff.

I've copied the relevant amended text from the updated manual and pasted it into my copy.

However, the roundels are permanently illuminated. Is this correct?

The roundels extinguish when Gascoigne wood removes its slot.

Not permanently but they are normally lit. The GW signaller can take back the slot and then those lights will go out. Normally the slot would be left in most of the time, not set for each individual train.

Got it! I didn't remove the slot. Didn't see when it was granted in the first place. Live and learn.
