Reading is an essential hub for the First Great Western/Great Western Railway mainline, Its complicated line management and platforms that can be used for two different trains at once could provide a difficult and fun challenge. If a simulation for the 4 main lines in and out of the station, 2 relief lines in and out of the station and the 15 platforms (7 through to 15 are split into "a" and "b" ) could be simulated, it would truly be a great feat. There is an in development simulation for reading panel already happening but without any set release date. It covers several eras but I'm not sure if the current revised layout is one.

There has been a Reading in development ever since the first release of Westbury. So that must be more as 15 years ago? It was originally build by Mike.

That’s not to say I wouldn’t like to do the IECC one day - and indeed I have most if not all the required information to do it - I just need to finish what I’m doing at present before considering and commiting to other projects. There has been a Reading in development ever since the first release of Westbury. But Reading is slowly progressing forward. An awful lot of research has gone into making the sim as authentic and detailed as possible, so I hope the wait will be worth it. I was training Reading last year, but i'm now on the Bristol Temple Meads desk. Very interesting location and I quite enjoy working it - so I vote for Temple Meads :-)

It's still fun to play! Log in to reply |

Is it possible to get the consent of the original developer?
