How does make a timetable and set a route for empty stock 378's from Croydon/Crystal Pally to New Cross Depot? I notice in the 2012 WTT (WF01A) they go to New Cross Gate Up Carriage Siding, so I've just set it to pass Canal Jn for it to leave the sim. Having looked in LC03, it then goes to New Cross Gate P1 and then reverses to access the depot. so I added it to re-enter the sim, go to New Cross Gate ELL P1 and then route to New Cross Gate C.S.D. When testing this, I couldn't set the signal from EL300 into the depot, there was no exit triangle. How do I send it into the depot? I tried clicking the signal to see if that does anything but it doesn't do anything. Any help is appreciated! James. Log in to reply |

EL300, as the prefix suggests, is not controlled by London Bridge (you) but by the East London Line controller. If the train is timetabled from New Cross Gate ELL P1 to NEWXCSD, and is correctly described in the TD Berth for EL300 then the sim will set the route within 15 seconds. *However* it doesn't seem to work. Ah I see, yes I noticed it just called up after 2 minutes saying it was at a red as it wouldn't clear. It appears I can still send them in for now, I just tried locking the points and giving it permission to pass at danger, then it went yellow and flicked back to red, but it disappeared into the CSD at least.

Slightly different but in the same area, so I thought I'd post in this thread rather than starting a new one. I'm inputting the London Overground trains for a 2012 tt and have got stuck with the following: 3D77 W Croydon - New Cross Gate CSD ….NXG P5 00/41 New Cross Gate Up Carr Sdg (RM) 0042h 0054h NXG P2 00/56 NXG Sig L1584 0057 0102 NXG ELL P1 0103 0103 NXG Nrth Jcn 01/03h NXG CSD 0107 Am I correct to assume New Cross Up Sussex Loop in the sim is the same as New Cross Gate Up Carr sdg in the schedule? And if so is it possible for it to be coded to enable a route from Up Sussex Loop to NXG P2 as it currently says there is no route. If not where does it go to be able to get to New Cross Gate P2 as I can't see any other entry / reversing points. (and because the schedule has it passing p2 and reversing at L1584 it doesn't enter from Canal Jcn surrey quays) And can Signal L1584 be made a location to enable the reversing move Cheers Gareth Log in to reply |

I notice that there are a couple of placed on Panel 8 where the ELL would chain if it was a sim unto itself. Dave Log in to reply |

Whilst it belongs to London Overground, it is staffed by Network Rail Signallers. London Overground Control used to be in there too but have sinced moved out to another TFL location.
