I had the same problem but it had actually opened the image on the desktop behind the Safari screen. I found it when I closed Safari.

So if you can bring one and are prepared to potentially let others use it in a multiplay then fantastic, but it's not a requirement to do so. The only thing we do ask is that to participate in the multiplay game(s) itself, you need to share (you can't hog your own laptop in a public game).
