I have uploaded a 1994 winter Saturday timetable. There are some quirks and tricks in this so you need to watch KX platform workings as it doesn't always follow a predictable pattern.

One thing I haven't been able to find out is where the light loco for the TPOs came from. In this sim I have assumed (probably incorrectly) it came from RES Euston Downside. Any more information on this would be welcome.

TPOs ran 5 nights a week (departing Monday to Friday and arriving early Tuesday to Saturday). There were no TPOs from KX on a Saturday so I'm guessing that you are talking about light engines to remove the NPCCS from 1A40/1A41. These would probably have been locos held in the loco sidings where Platform 0 now lives having brought in the NPCCS for the down TPO and earlier 20:15 (I think it was) departure. These formations would have come from Cambridge.

That still leaves the engines that had brought in 1A40/1A41. I'll try and find out a bit more about them but I would guess the NPCCS and light locos would go back to Cambridge,

Yes I am talking about locos for the empty stock to Cambridge (5L78, 5L72 and 5L22). I have assumed the loco off 1A41 drops onto 1A40 to form 5L72, and the loco off 1A40 drops onto 1E22 to form 5L22. There has to be a light loco from somewhere for 5L78 and the loco off 1E22 has to go somewhere. I couldn't find any contemporary pictures of RES locos sitting in the loco sidings and I can't imagine they would have had one sit there from Saturday morning until Monday night.

My guess was Euston Downside as the nearest RES depot. There were no timetabled LE workings to/from Cambridge (or anywhere else for that matter).

Some of the TPOs at the time had class 90s but I'm keeping it simple for the moment and only describing them as 47s.
