I’m running the GH Day 15.10.09 (04.45 start) timetable in 2000 era, Loader 4.9 I have class 4 train 4M83, which I have just released from the Eden Valley UGL, that seems to be behaving rather erratically. At first it accelerated up to 30 mph and then within the space of 5 minutes or so, its speed dropped down to 15 mph, back up to 30mph, and back down to 15 mph. I thought that as the gradient from Shap Summit towards Carnforth is in its favour, I would let it out before the next class 1 (1M95) was too close. However, the class 1 train is now rapidly catching it up, so I have decided to divert 4M83 into the Tebay loop. I was going to plough my way through previous Carlisle threads, but as there are so many thought I’d ask on here. So, could someone please explain the reasons why 4M83 would behave this way. If a saved game is required, let me know. Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Log in to reply |

Save games are always required.

There's a glitch somewhere that makes the freights lose time. See this thread. Kev Last edited: 31/01/2019 at 20:41 by KymriskaDraken Reason: Add thread link Log in to reply |

I did read virtually all of the Carlisle post before starting to play, just to see what issues were raised, but obviously there are far too many to remember them all.
