Got same error code last night which is on mantis I believe for Manchester when doing west yorkshire 1991 sim 10.52 am seemed to be caused by me clicking to route 2xxx series from healy mills onto slow line behind 6exx which was crew change on TL Wakefield got internal error message attached jpg. Also note that normally 2xxx series from Barnsledy or Healy are in front of this freight 6x series as if not then freight fouls points on slow to p1 Wakefield for crew change so delays trains big time! This is already being tracked as Mantis 0022259. I've randomly managed to trigger this bug myself, but am unable to repeat the action. Something weird is happening, but given the rarity is likely tricky to pin down. If you could attach your "SimSig Loader0.log" file from the SimSig directory, it could help track the problem down further. I had that on Manchester East, to be exact. Exactly the same error, yes, at the same address so almost certainly related. By the way, if you want to show a screenshot inside a forum post: upload an image without spaces in the file name. AJP in games Log in to reply |

I've occasionally (but not reliably) been able to trigger Access Violation when attempting to replace an external manually-worked signal behind an inbound working at a fringe point.

@9pN1SEAp, I don't really see a signal that fits your description on the signal number plan of West Yorkshire (or is it at the Wakefield Westgate fringe?), maybe you can elaborate where this happened?

Sorry! this wasn’t on WY but was on a couple of other sims. Might be related or not to the issue here.

I attach the SimSig0 file and 2 saves at 10.35 and 10.58 just after violation. It was on Wakefield Westgate and routing 6Exx series train to stop crew change at tl but a 2xxx weas immediately behind it or entered the berth and I set the route to SL behind 6exx train. Previous 2xxx train was from Barnsley which I should have routed first to P1 then slot to Kirkgate as did not thing the 6xxx series was going to foul the points crossover from sl to P1 when it stops for crew change. This sounds unrelated to the original item at the start of this thread (which has now been fixed in the core code).
