'Wrong route' if train for Ashton comes to a stop at signal SE7036 18/04/2019 at 13:42 #117689 | |

I have found a problem in Stalybridge platform 1: when a train from Diggle Jn to Ashton Moss Jn is routed through this platform, signal SE7036 is red and the train not scheduled to stop at the station, I get a wrong route call. The caller says he/she is not routed towards Stalybridge, but the train is already there - the TT should step up. Clicking 'Bypass Stalybridge' works to get the train moving again. Save from just before the phonecall and screenshot of the actual call attached. ![]() Post has attachments. Log in to view them. AJP in games Log in to reply |

This might take me a little while to work out. I can see why its phoning wrong route, but, at the same time, I cannot see why it's phoning wrong route. - I need to do some more investigation. The same logic is also applied on Platform 3 going towards Ashton Moss North

I haven't had problems for platform 3, though arguably my previous game (with platform 3 not closed) was run on the previous version of the sim.

I've identified the underlying issue, and have come up with a workaround. It's not perfect, (trains booked non stop at Stalybridge will not report a passing time), however, as a signaller, you'll notice no difference with how this will work. Stalybridge is a strange location for wrong routes, and hopefully this time I have got it right. An update should be out as soon as this fix has been tested James Log in to reply |
