Having looked through the wiki Derby Manual I still cannot find the meaning of platform NDK. Can someone explain this ? Also why does the sim indicate TL when there is no TL in Derby excepting the up/down Goods ?

Per the manual: Quote: The platform code 'TL' is used to show that the train is not booked to use any specific line through the Derby area, use whichever line causes least delay to traffic in the area.NDK appears to refer to 'North Dock', the siding to the right of platform 1.
