With Sandhills seemingly having been a roaring success, is there any possibility of Yoker being done?

Like Sandhills it’s an IECC-based suburban network which gives scope for service recovery decision making rather than just signalling trains through a layout.

I know it’s in the COI list, but so was Sandhills so hopefully that isn’t a total showstopper.

Agreed. Would be a good one and would, I think, link into Glasgow as well?

Sorry - you are quite right. It would link to CScot at Bellgrove and I think it might cover some other parts of Glasgow also? I had thought it would incorporate Glasgow Central but I have just checked and that is WestScot ROC.

No Glasgow Central had its own box for the station and surrounding area working to Yoker, Cathcart and Motherwell however it has now closed as you mentioned.

Yoker would indeed be a lovely little extension to the Scotland areas. Plenty of traffic and a massive headache if you have train delays on and one fails at Partick/Hyndland.

It’s West of Scotland Signalling Centre (WSSC). It isn’t officially a ROC yet.
