1) I think the blank TD issue has already been fixed from a previous mantis report 2) I'd need to see the exact sequence of events, but I suspect there's a condition where you can get lucky and not manage to crash the trains into each other on the single line. Not sure if you saw my other post in the Stormy Up Loop thread? Thanks Karl, I didn’t see any report on the whitespace message but I had noticed the Pyle “Landore” post after my original message! Sadly I didn’t do a save on the Burrows but IIRC, I got a slot into sidings, routed to loop, then accepted an exit train, routed my inbound to BS, with outbound appearing towards 451 before the inbound got onto the single. If 451 isn’t a shunt it could well get a Mexican! Jamie S (JAMS) Last edited: 02/07/2019 at 22:13 by 9pN1SEAp Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Another odd thing... as 2G50 stepped out past 3464 (Wildmill e/b starter distant), a note I had left at 3461 (Bridgend P3 starter) vanished from the berth. The branch was signalled onto P2 at the time. Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

That's a really good spot, the issue was the berth clearing out when platform 1A became empty.

Always a possibility I went completely mad, but when 2Q08 from CDF had changed ends at Bridgend P1 and was signalled to CR1, the berth changed to 2W08 just before stepping out to the VoG line!

Automatic reversals (non timetabled) also occur at Tondu on the OVE line if a stop is programmed for a train to run to run between the OVE and Maesteg in both directions but don't if its a passing time. And another: I keep asking the Landore shunter to call back in 2 minutes as I can't slot 5L32 (for the washer) out of the emergency road, but they keep calling back at alternating 20 second and 50 second intervals. A similar thing happened previously with the Margam East PIC. Thanks Jamie Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

I opened the save, whoever has set the route has used the grey exit triangle in the bay. For a permissive move you need to set to the red exit triangle. EDIT - I respect the members decision to withdraw the question posed to the house. I have 0B33 on the Swansea Avoiding heading towards Landore, but can't route 263 to 285 "point(s) locked reverse". I suspect this is related to the route for 5L08 which recently emerged from the Emergency Road to reverse towards Maliphant, as I have seen 903 points locking normal on main route from 283. Weird! On the sim you can set a route from PT245 to PT449 so a train can be signalled from the UM in to the DPL platform at Llanelli. In real life this route doesn't exist. If an UM train terminates at Llanelli and is to return west then it would normally be an ECS shunt move - usually signalled from UPL PT249 to PT251, then reverse from GPL PT554 to PT286 in to Llanelli DPL. Hello, I can't remember if I've had this issue on previous version(s) of the sim or the loader but I can't set a route from Llandeilo Jn Up Loop to Up Main. 947 points are locked, "points locked normal by another route". I can't swing them manually either. Screenshot attached. Cheers Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Hi all, The aforementioned points P947 appear to be permanently locked normal even when starting with no timetable. I've tried swinging every other set of points on Panel C including all the frames, but nothing seems to unlock these. Incidentally, I note that P952A (Llandeilo Down Loop Down Derailer) reversing, locks P953A/B (Main line crossover West End) normal, for no discernible reason! Also, there's a catch point shown between Swanesa Loop West Jn and Cockett Tunnel on the down which isn't assigned a point ID in F11, isn't swingable and doesn't redraw. Does it exist clipped & scotched in real life? Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Troy100 |
