There is also a shortcut, if you press the letter 'F', the game will run at maximum speed for 5 game-minutes (or until you pause it with 'P'), then it will resume at the previously set speed.

This is found from a hyperlink in the SimSig Function Keys page which is accessed from the Usertrack home page. I don't want to offend either Peter or Edgemaster by editing or taking out their work from the Wiki but there is a lot of information on the Shortcut Keys page which is duplicated on the SimSig Function Keys page.
