Whilst playing the 2018 timetable an access Violation popped up on my screen. Do I need to provide details, or just ignore this one or any others that may pop up? Everything still seems to be working OK. Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Log in to reply |

A log file extract would be useful so we can investigate and fix.

I can only find four LogFiles which I have located in the SimSig folder in Public Documents. Two of them have no text whatsoever in them when they are opened in Notepad. The other two are titled 'SimSig Loader1.log' which is dated 13/05/2019 and 'SimSig Loader0.log' which is dated 10/08/2019. I have attached them both, but have my doubts as to whether either will be of any use. I have also attached a screenshot which gives a few details. I know nothing about what happens behind the scenes in SimSig, but if I were to re-run the sim from a time just before the incident and it were to reoccur, would any useful information appear in the LogFile dated 10/08/2019 which I assume will get updated? Sorry, none of that has useful information (the address given isn't within the core code). If this happens again, there should be useful information in the message window once you acknowledge the alert box. Or exit the sim, find the log file that's just changed, and look for the same message near the end. Log in to reply |

IIRC, Tester access gives the full log transcript but User access only records the most basic information about which sim and TT have been loaded with no data from the run of the sim. I did have an Access Violation on my 2018 Timetable when testing, I reported it but I don't think it got picked up.
