Current queue number to access the network rail data feeds for timetables(which includes scheduled frieght) for modern era timetable making is at 104th. Expected work on a modern (2019) timetable for various Sims expected to commence within a couple of months. I will look for some TT testers with the idea of testing through multiplayer over the next few months. Those making modern timetables who have made various timetables before I would help.
Timetables produced will contain credits to the network rail system and Thier IT staff. Included will also be a link to the data feed wiki for those interested themselves.

SamTDS - STDS | My comments are my opinions and interpretations and do not reflect on the wonderfull SimSig team. I am in no way part of the team.

Two Manchester South 1987 timetables (00.00 & 05.45 starts) have been submitted to the Mods for approval. An interesting contrast with 1977. Fewer freights, but more passenger services, especially on the Macclesfield route.

Bit of a long shot seeing as I cant find them anywhere, is there any diagrams or CWN available that distinguishes what 390 services are 9 cars and which are 11 cars. Want to do a Wembley or Rugby timetable but it's a bit of guess work trying to do so without those.

EDIT: Just found CWN on Uk modern EMU.

That would interest me, fire across a PM if you wish to discuss it further.

I emailed them about the queue (currently over 1500 last time I checked) and they said they don't intend to change the limit to the number of subscribers. But the way the queue works means it might be a long time before getting (re)activated. Let's say the 53 in front of you* never realise they became active for whatever reason. If only one person falls off the active list due to disuse, the 51st (possible gatepost error) user gets activated. If that user never does anything then it'll be 2 weeks before that user falls off and the previous 52nd gets activated. If that user fails: another 2 weeks. So you could be looking at 2 years in the not-quite-the-worst scenario!

* Possibly 104th means 103 people pending in front of you, plus the 50 active, rather than 50+53 (active+pending).

More Manchester South timetables have been submitted to the Mods for approval. 1996 SX with 00.00 and 05.05 start times. Completely different traffic patterns to the 1977 and 1987 simulations already available as a result of the opening of both spurs to Manchester Airport station.

I've been quiet lately but I am making (albeit slow) progress on a Rugby Dec '18 chain timetable. Around half of the Virgin services are in, then there's LM and the small issue of freight formations (so if anyone has any idea please do let me know). I can't give an ETA as it's on hold for the next two months due to Uni exams but I'm hopeful I will actually finish it this time.

London Bridge April 2012

Apologies for the long hiatus on this one...life gets in the way!

Currently about to go through the errors / bugs / lack of gin during writing that have been found during testing.
The vast majority are platforming issues which I will tidy up a bit but there may still be some rogue entries to keep people on there toes as none are sim stoppers.

There are a few issues / bugs that have been discovered so once I've collated the various saves etc I'll send them over to Geoff to have a look at. There's also a few pathing queries around Grove Park Depot I need to check with him.

Edge Hill Monday 13th May 2019

I'm currently in the process of creating a 2019 timetable for the Edge Hill sim, all workings will be from Real Time Trains. Still a long way to go with this one, but it's a start!

Hi all.
Next ones from me are Brighton, East Coastway and Lancing all from winter 2018 and chainable. The passenger and ECS timetable are all finished, just a few freight and all rules to add, so hopefully not too long before it's complete.
It's come to a stop over recent weeks due to family stuff, so bear with me please.

Birmingham New Street Summer 2019 is progressing well, all trains have been entered & I have commenced stock allocations and next workings, then testing is required. If work & life doesn't get in the way too much it should be sooner rather than later.

April 2012 Series Timetables

An update on the updates and new ones currently in the stable being worked on.

With the multi-seed timetable option being in development there is a strong chance that any new releases or re-releases by me will be put on hold until I can implement the new format, so that it is easier going forwards.

London Bridge:
A couple of minor adjustments needed to be corrected and checked
First release then likely to on hold until the new multi-seed option available to be added

Victoria Central & Victoria South Eastern:
Few changes to schedules done to enable chaining to LB (once released)
Awaiting multi-seed option to be added

Brighton, East Coastway, Lancing:
Correction of errors relating to seeding and rules done
Awaiting multi-seed option to be added

Horsham and Oxted:
Multi-seed option to be added when available

Wimbledon and Feltham:
No plans as yet for updates or multi-seed additions; if there is enough wishing for them to be updated, let me know and I'll see if time allows sometime.

Update regarding Rugby chain:
I'm now just finishing off the ECS workings and clearing up errors/conflicts. There's no freight yet but this passenger-only version should be ready to go for test this week.

Now down to the community, should I release it without freight and release with freight once I've had the time to do it or just keep it until it's completely finished?

I'm fine with either.

I usually run through them one by one to tidy up things etc, then do a public chain of all three sims before release.

Timetable updates

As you will of know I’ve been working on many timetables over the last couple of months.
These are the following:

Carlisle Two-Day June 2019
Rugby SCC/ROC (North, Centre, South & Staffordshire) Summer 2019
Staffordshire Saturday & Sunday August 2019

Due to unforeseen circumstances Watford Jn, Coventry & Manchester Piccadilly timetables I have abandoned and removed, this due to me not having enough time, lack of unit diagram information and other issues.

Anyway updates
Carlisle Two-Day June 2019 WTT is complete, with little issues now tided up. I’m going to rerun a test on this again before I release.
Rugby South, whether it was my fault, or the sim didn’t save I’ve lost all LNW/VT services post 9am and I’m currently adding in them missing services.
Rugby Centre & North Summer 2019 WTT’s are fully complete with Passenger & Freight services.
Staffordshire Summer 2019 WTT is complete with passengers but freight services need adding.

Please note while Staffordshire July 2019 WTT has been released by 'officer dibble' this timetable will not chain with my current timetables on the Rugby SCC side due to differences in train services and freight lengths. Reason been all my passenger stuff was related to 5 June 2019 and my freight from May to August.

I'm about halfway through of adding trains on the Edge Hill May 13th 2019 TT for the Edge Hill sim (listed as Lime Street - Runcorn in the loader). HST125Scorton (Aaron) has very kindly added all of the freight services so many thanks to him!

I’m in the process of testing a Summer 2019 Sunday timetable for King’s Cross. Provides a chance for a single player to manage the whole area and actually have the odd spare moment! Might hopefully facilitate a couple of engineering work timetables.

Little update for all.

Staffordshire Satuday & Sunday August timetables are now complete and in the process of been tested slowly. Note these two timetables are not based on a certain day now and feature all the freights out of the WTTs for Stafford & Stoke, including any extras.

Rugby SCC + Staffordshire Summer 2019 timetables, after a long hard think and two different overnight visits I've decided to use what ran on the day freights this also helps myself and saves time. I have now started testing these.

Carlisle Two-Day June 2019 Timetable, I'm still working on this, I admit very slow progress but these feature what ran on the day freight, charter services including a couple of extra flows. This is 48hr timetable based on a Friday & Saturday and will sure keep you on your toes hopefully.

April 2012 Series Timetables

An update on the updates and new ones currently in the stable being worked on.

Brighton, East Coastway, Lancing:
These have been converted to multi seed timetable format, and have been uploaded awaiting mod approval.

With the development of Three Bridges these are likely to be the last updates for Brighton and Lancing before I convert them into a Three Bridges timetable.

London Bridge, Victoria Central & Victoria South Eastern:
Adapted for multi seed timetable, a few minor things to check and do but shouldn't be too long until their first releases / updates

Cheers
Gareth
