I've not been at this long, but with liberal use of the pause button, I'm getting used to it! I'm trying to route a train, the 6D49, into Beeston South Sidings. When I try to set the route, I get the message "No Overlap Available". From reading the other forum posts, I think what should happen is that after the train stops at the signal TT342, after a certain time the overlap on the main line will time-out, and allow the route to be set. I was late in requesting the slot into the sidings, so the train has been standing at the signal for at least 10 mins, but I still can't set the route. I can set the divergeing route onto the DG line though. What do I do? Log in to reply |

You need to cancel the auto signal (345) behind, which is still set and hence the overlap is still active. once you do this, it should behave as you describe and you can route into the South sidings.

wulf said:cancel the auto signal (345) behind, which is still set and hence the overlap is still active That did occur to me, but as I could route onto DG sucessfully, I didn't think that was the problem. Just tried on a "No Timetable" session, and yes it works. Tried again on my "active" session and we're away again! Now to clear the queue behind it !! Many Thanks Wulf Log in to reply |

How puts wulf, before train arrives to beeston south Jn, request slot for Beeston siding. Cancel automatic track for 2 signals. Then from second signal creates route to one of those sidings. Train shall stop on first signal, option to pass red signal and shunt and shall go to siding! .............. Davidbird, isn't necessary to disable timetable for that train. Disabling automatic track in Beeston Jn is sufficient!... Log in to reply |
