Looks like it's going to close https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/newhaven-marine-rail-station-closure/newhaven-marine-station-closure But looking at Googlemaps there's no station left to speak of and if there is it's impossible to get to and if you did then you are not alowed to board the only train of the day apparently. Peter Actually, looking at Real Time Trains it appears they don't even bother to send the trains down the branch. I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! I don't think RealTimeTrains is picking up the TD berths on the Newhaven Marine branch. Yesterday's 5C09 ran berth 1581-STOP, 2C09 then ran STOP-1582-1580, so it did run via Newhaven Marine to reverse. 2C54/5C54 also made the same move in the evening.

There's an aggregates terminal being constructed in the adjacent yard and for a while there was no access at all to Marine. The daily ECS was reversing on the Seaford branch. Not sure if they have resumed going into Marine. There's a relatively long thread on UKRail forums relating to it. https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/future-of-newhaven-marine-and-harbour-stations.122716/ Planotransitophobic!
