I am unable to get the license Manager to connect to the system to update the fact I bought the LTS license any ideas?

We need some more information, what error message are you receiving? What operating system are you using?

I would check that your anti-virus or firewall isn't blocking the connection. I'd also have a read here about ensuring SSL and TLS are turned up properly in internet explorer options.
