I did read through the pages before asking the question on the forum. I shall have another look at the page you have linked

For the incoming train add its entry location and time, headcode etc then add its timing points up the station it terminates at. Add an activity of next train and enter the new trains headcode. That's it for the first train. For the outgoing train no entry location or time is needed, just add its timing locations starting with the station it starts from. That's it. When the first train arrives it'll immediately form the second. "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply |

I'd add a few thoughts that may save frustration later. Don't try writing the timetable in one file. Split trains down into service groups (eg say locals from Sheffield, 'freight' etc) and write one train pair. Use the 'verify' function and test it in the sim until it is right. Then you can duplicate as needed for all the trains in the group. With a modern timetable this is easy as it is clockface. Then finally combine the service group timetables - with 'timetable merge with current'. regards Bill Log in to reply The following users said thank you: Super_Dogbox, andyallen4014 |
