I was only controlling the panel as a client on the Three Bridges session tonight but for some reason 1A20 which I correctly routed into Platform 2 at Haywards Heath and which had the route set correctly had the driver ring up saying he was sat awaiting signal even though the signal which was T347 was displaying a proceed aspect eg a green. I don't have any saves but the session to the best of my knowledge is the 2018 to 2019 era with all pre options selected. Why would a driver ring up saying he was awaiting the signal when he already had the route set and a proceed aspect showing? I'm not sure if this is a known bug or not but I hope those who have more knowledge of how sims work behind the scenes can help please Log in to reply |

As a follow up and before I supply additional info for a similar issue, when I checked F2 the train had reversed direction to Up autonomously. A possible link is that this occurred around the time the set would have formed the next Up service from Brighton - did it just turn around at the time it ought to have?

Without a save game, unfortunately there's just not enough information for us to go on, sorry!

Hi Headshot Theres an outside chance these may help. A similar situation developed a few minutes later at Crawley. Was operating Three Bridges panel mostly under ARS and attending to the Haywards Heath issue when I noticed that the Horsham AI panel had set a route behind 1C28 from the platform 2 starter at Crawley. This image was taken just after I'd cancelled the route, note the time (13:01 also matches its departure from Horsham similar to the Haywards Heath issue). F2 revealed it had changed direction but the timetable looked normal. Was able to get it going in the right direction by mashing 'Reverse direction' - no abandon timetable required. Somebody altered the timetable of 1C28 such that it became invalid (platform 3 at Gatwick instead of 5). With an invalid timetable behaviour is unpredictable. Perhaps this is what happened at Haywards Heath too?
