Greetings, I am trying to work on a timetable which has two reverse moves at Haywards Heath. Of these one uses Platform 2 as the reversing location - https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/X01000/2020-05-18/detailed - so I put this in and checked the TT by pressing "Validate" but the validator didn't like it. Further examination reveals that Signal T342 - the Up starter on Platform 2 - cannot be used for route setting which, I take it, is a bug. Cheers, Dave Log in to reply |

Not a bug, T342 isn't a starter, it's a fixed red.

No bug at all, T342 is a fixed red, the validator is throwing an error as you've given the train an impossible path. https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=simulations:threebridges The Manual said:

That RTT schedule has line code UV (up loop) at Copyhold Jn followed by platform 2 which is also impossible as 2 is on the down side. Platform 4 is probably meant.

The RTT link will expire today, but you probably noticed that in the end it used platform 1. Now, would you alter the timetable to P1, or would you leave it as P2 and let the player do the alteration?

My fault I forgot the original post which mentioned why P2 couldn't be used! Ignore my idea Log in to reply The following user said thank you: headshot119 |
