Hi there, I was just playing around with Horsham sim when I realised that trains stopping in P4 of Horsham, at least in the Dn direction (I haven't tested the Up), won't pull all the way up to 847 signal, even when the train is given the FX stopping position, meaning that long trains (such as 12 Coach 377s and 700s) will overhang the platform. This is particularly irritating when the service is terminating, as you can imagine. I checked the stated platform lengths in the manual, and these units should be able to fit in the platform. I would advise removing the FX stopping position, I have ran number of tests and found that having no Far End or Far End exact the train will fit fully into the platform

Perhaps the developer can advise. Sim default stopping position looks like it is 'NX+2' (for reversing or all trains ?) The three track circuits in platform 4 are 109, 50 and 106m, so making 265m I tested using 5C07 (12x377) which is 248m Under 'default' the train stops 15m short of sig847 - so 2m back from sig838 at the London end. The FX behaviour looks like a bug, the train stops just 20m into the 106m track circuit. The train is not hanging out a fraction, it is 69m out. FX adjustments behave strangely too, FX+40 never even makes it into the platform ! Log in to reply The following user said thank you: postal |
