Hi All,

I tried SimSig some years ago but struggled with due to a combination of ignorance and lack of time. Older, wiser (hopefully) and better informed now so it seems a good time to try again. Here goes...

Welcome back! I gave it a go initially and didn't do too well and then came back months later with a bit more time on my hands and did better. I also found once I had mastered the basics that multiplayer games helped me learn.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the tip re Multiplayer games. I think I was unprepared the first time for the steepness of the learning curve. Trying to get to grips with the principles of signalling and a complex simulator at the same time required more time than I had available. I now have a much better understanding of how signalling works so I only have to contend with the mysteries of SimSig itself!
