just wondering if has been considered on all sims, that at light train periods at night I would expect phone calls from Picops to take possessions and isolations etc? just a thought! Log in to reply |

Firstly, I think this thread should be moved to the Features wish list area of the forum. Now onto my reply; There are already scenarios in simulations where sections of lines are under a possession, however these possessions run throughout the duration of the timetable. A new feature has been introduced to the latest simulations (Central Scotland ('CScot'), Edinburgh and Wembley Suburban) known as the Incident Control Panel and this can be accessed by going to Show and clicking on Incident Control Panel, or for a more quicker way just press F11 on your keyboard. If you have a look at this page and also check out the pages linked to from there then it ought to give you an idea of how to use the ICP. In your case, you may want to have a look at the Track Circuits tab so you could set your own possessions as you see fit (you'll have to imagine a call from the PICOP). The quickest way to do this is click on the mouse button, click on a track circuit then select the 'ENG' option from the Isolations drop-down-box and then repeat the process for other track circuits you want to isolate. This will isolate the track circuit (collar it blue) and prevent you from routing trains onto/into that track circuit. Unfortunately there is currently no calls from PICOPs to request a possession, however if you really wanted to you could request it as a new feature. Hope this helps.
