Ditton is Merseyside - you can find it on the Edge Hill Sim (Runcorn to Liv Lime St) - google will probably give you quicker answers than the forum

Try popping the location in real time trains or opentraintimes. It'll show, you timetables for trains at that location which should reveal where it is.

I've just put Ditton Reception Sidings into Real Time Trains and pulled up the train list for Friday gone. Clicking at random on a Felixstowe to Ditton TT shows the train as passing Crewe, Winsford, Hartford Jn and Runcorn just before it gets to Ditton.
