Hi What happens when trains arrive at Southampton Up Yard (near Northam Jct) They seem to go into REC 1 and then it says it has no timetable? does the train just stay there for the rest of the timetable? I did leave one train there but a few hours later another train turns up wanting to use it?! Many thanks for reading! francis oldfield Log in to reply |

The train should be routed onto the track under REC 1 (click the arrow at the end of the track). That is the Up Yard.

If this is my timetable, and it sounds like it is as I don't think any other Southampton timetables use the up yard, then as mentioned you need to route them into the line below REC 1. The train will then reappear a few minutes later and head for Northam Depot Runround Line. The reason why this has to be done is there is no other way of reversing trains (automatically) coming from the Southampton direction heading to Northam depot. The sim will not automatically reverse trains on REC 1, and I'm not sure that it automatically reverses trains in St Denys platform 4 either. Log in to reply |
