Running 2015 TT I note that trains seem to be excessively delayed at West Ham in the up direction. Is this a problem with times allowed in the TT or a fault in the sim?

I've run a few trains in the 2015 TT (1400 start) and experienced no delays to up services at West Ham - any specific trains you're referring to? Do you have a save game showing the trains being delayed?

I have experienced this same issue it happens during the morning peak time between 07:00-09:00 in both up and down directions.

I note this is a TT with defensive driving rules. These are set to not drop below 14mph and 7mph on passing cautionary aspects in version 5.0.0.

West Ham is a red herring: MUs can go at 60mph around there (apart from a couple of places), but the defensive driving rule says "reduce to 33% of line speed when 20mph or above when passing a single yellow". Since 5E00 did indeed pass a single yellow, it has dutifully reduced its speed to 33% of 60mph which is 20mph. What confused me was it seems you deleted the C2C defensive driving rules, but the trains (once entered) retained the data since the TT is duplicated for the train, so they were still running to those rules. TL;DR timetable needs its defensive driving rules relaxed somewhat. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

How do you go about relaxing the defensive rules in the TT. Because this problem never used to happen its only recently when there was a recent update that this problem has since occurred. Kind regards Log in to reply |

F4-> 'Driving' tab. Open the applicable rule set, and change the values as desired. Trains already in the simulation won't change their behaviour, but any new trains entering, or the results of any activities (Next, Divide etc.) will pick up the changes.
