Timetable popup window position 07/10/2020 at 01:09 #132926

I'm not sure if I've missed something, so apologies if I have...

I'm playing King's Cross over two monitors, with each half stretched over two monitors, Biggleswade to Welham Green over the top, and Welham Green to King's Cross over the bottom.

When clicking on a train description to bring up the popup timetable, for anything on the top section the "show timetable" box is coming up far over to the left hand side of the left monitor, whilst for the bottom section it will come up to the left hand side of the right monitor. This is a little awkward as when it comes up on the far left it is well outside of my field of vision.

Is there any way of adjusting this, perhaps so the window either comes up based on where the train is that has been clicked, or even better comes up in a custom location which then locks for the duration of the session?

I turn off the "multiple timetable windows" option and then, when I click on a TD, the new timetable loads in the existing window. That way I can position the (single) timetable window nicely, on a secondary monitor next to the Messages pane and whatever I'm using to keep track of trains awaiting departure at non-TRTS locations (Hertford North and WGC particularly!).

However - if I interpose a bad TD and click on it, SimSig helpfully closes the timetable window to show a "No timetable" messagebox, and thus forgets where I put it. Clicking on a valid TD opens it again but in a random location.

(named for the one in Tasmania, not in Russia)
