Hi! I'm going to try making my first timetable... Peterborough, weekday, 2020. It's going to take a while but I'm more than alright with giving it a shot!

I did a blog of making up my Kings Cross 1964 timetable which might be of interest as one approach. As a modern timetable you will save a fair bit by copying trains from the existing timetables and uyo can get stock diagrams Bill Log in to reply |

I did some unnecessary work on King's Cross for the same kind of idea since it had already been done and fortunately the current trains are kind of easy because the modern MU sets are so long that you can most of the time just run single train consists anyway. As an example, the Class 700 measures in at 162 meters per set according to Wikipedia... meaning that no matter how hard you try, you can't fit two of them at King's Cross. I haven't found any official platform lengths for the Peterborough sim, but regardless that just won't work because of the length available at London.

I've just had a look at this timetable, it has an almost endless amount of errors thrown up by Timetable Analyser. @RocAngus any intention on fixing these as it is pointless attempting to run it in this state. User | Multiplayer Host | Timetable Writer Log in to reply |
