I am running the 2002 TT (I think - that what the description is on F4). 2B44 (0824 ex Exmouth) has arrived at Topsham, but the single line south is still showing occupied. I've tried a few things to keep the TT running, such as reversing everything at Topsham, but the signalling layout there doesn't seem to allow reverse movements. Would welcome suggestions. cheers, Paul Log in to reply |

This is a known problem with the call-on buttons at Topsham - if you use them then the track circuit between Topsham and Exmouth doesn't clear and you have to PSAD trains onto the section. There was, however, a multiplayer game a while back where this happened and someone managed to clear it up but I can't remember how they did it!

If I recall correctly the problem is with the Up Warner route/button (or which ever one is in the direction going away from Exmouth) and if you route a train off the Exmouth branch into Topsham by using the warner button/route then the OTW on the branch will not clear. I'm pretty sure that the Down Warner route/button doesn't suffer from this bug. I think if you PSAD the next train to Exmouth then the OTW should clear after it comes back off the line and pulls into Topsham but just don't use the warner. Also if I'm not mistaken if you set and key the points in the appropriate direction either side of Topsham then it should still treat the routing as a warner route but without the bug causing a problem. Discussed at http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_agora&task=topic&id=386&Itemid=54. Next refresh of the sim will have the problem corrected. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |

Thanks everyone, and apologies for not finding the previous post - as an occasional SimSig player I'm still not quite used to the new forum/website layout and didn't spot it. Just tried without warner button, and the section clears as required. cheers, Paul Log in to reply |
