Evening, I'm not sure what we've managed to do, but somehow our chain has managed to break the ability to signal from 62 signal on Sandhills (Strand Rd Up) to LE402 (Edge Hill) - it seems to not be an issue on singleplayer, so I can only assume it has something to do with our chain. At roughly the same time, but potentially unrelated, I got an internal exception when one of the clients cancelled a route from 724 to 722 (Rock Ferry P2 towards Green Lane) - the client stated it was almost simultaneous with his cancelling the route. I've attached the savegames for all of the chained sims (Chris and Elliot should post theirs too), and a couple of screenshots - one of the itnernal exception, and one of the client logging Post has attachments. I've just opened both save games for Sandhills and Edge Hill, they've chained together without an issue and the route sets from ML62 to LE402 without issue. When you had the issue, what exactly happened when someone tried to set ML62 to LE402? did any of the white route lights come in? Was a route unavailable message coming up in the message window? And did trains continue to run fine on the Down Bootle in the other direction between the two sims? EDIT The log file from the Sandhills session showing the exception occurring would also be useful. You should find it in C:\Users\Public\Documents\SimSig\SimSig LoaderX.log where X is a number, you'll have more than one file if you have run multiple sims at the same time. "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Last edited: 13/01/2021 at 23:53 by headshot119 Reason: None given Log in to reply |

That's bizarre - both myself and Pedro tried it, and literally nothing happened - we would try to set the route, and signal 62 would stop flashing, implying something had happened. However, no route was set, nothing lit up white, no points were locked etc. There was no route unavailable message at all - it was literally as if nothing happened. The client logging screenshot I attached shows everything I could see when the route was set (in this case by Pedro). I've attached the three log files I have - I was hosting two sims, and playing a third, so I'm not sure which is which Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |
