Hey, was wondering how doable is LTS with ARS on with one person? I have managed Swindon on my own before quite well but if LTS is too much, I will probably buy just Fenchurch Street instead. Thanks! Log in to reply |

Doable, even with level crossings enabled.

Doable. My only issue with LC's activated is that during busier periods, they do require a fair amount of attention. otherwise though, Very managable.

This is good to see. I have a "list of sims to buy at some time, eventually" spreadsheet and it's currently at number 5. I keep changing my mind about the order of priority though

It was one of a multibuy I purchased at Christmas with a £100 my partner had given me as a present for sims, i've not played it yet as been too busy with other things, multiplayer games, timetable writing etc etc but looking forward to getting onto it.

Another thing to remember is that many simulations appear daunting at first. After you have run them for a while and made a multitude of mistakes, things gradually start dropping into place and you pick up the pace of the sim and the pinch points to watch. It then all seems a lot more manageable. That must be a process a bit like a real signaller has to undergo as they learn a new panel. LTS is another great one for being able to make "control" type decisions if the service goes disrupted, as the passenger service is almost entirely captive. Merseyrail is another great one, and I'd say about on a par with LTS in terms of workload - just about manageable single handed when the service is heavily disrupted.
