Morning all, I have noticed 1. shout box has gone 2. Playing HK today and I got got booted, no error message, nothing. Cant offer save as I hadnt saved at the point of booting. Was only about 0615 or so on the new 2019 TT. Loader and all is up to date. Are there some server issues - which I could guess cause both issues? Ripley, Derbyshire Log in to reply |

AH, thats it, just seen the update in the shout box on home page view that no longer on forum view - I must have missed an update on that change - no bother! The crashing was weird tho, playing NE Wales now, and no issues at all - thanks Andy for the hint on shout box

To the best of my knowledge we've not had any server issues this morning. Hong Kong East, and North East Wales are both donationware in any case, so it won't be due to a simulation expiring. Does your SimSig Log file reveal anything? You can find it in C:\Users\Public\Documents\SimSig and it's "SimSig LoaderX.log" where X is a number. Re shoutbox no longer appearing in forum view – I guess that explains why in Firefox the bfcache (for the back-/forward buttons of the browser) finally started working for the forum pages (the scripts used for implementing the shoutbox unfortunately weren't compatible with the bfcache), which is much appreciated especially when browsing from a mobile phone.
