This one of the sims that my daughter (oh, and her brothers as it turns out) bought me as Christmas/birthday presents. Haven't had a chance to play it yet as I've been playing Central Scotland of late. However, it's definitely my next game Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Phil, one we've just come across and I even remember finding when testing (but obviously forgot to write down...) 5D92 is missing its reverse location when it comes out of Crofton Depot (WK8205) User | Multiplayer Host | Timetable Writer Log in to reply |

So, whilst playing the 2018 timetable, 5D92 appeared at the Crofton Depot exit and proceeded to cross to the UP line in the direction of Kirkgate. It stopped and straddled the points for a few minutes and then disappeared from the sim. I found the solution in the post above amongst those in the “Timetables” section. I added the relevant reversing point, although for some reason it wouldn’t let me input the arrival and departure times. I just left those blank. Anyway. Getting on quite nicely with this excellent timetable. However, at 20:45 I miss-routed 4M90 at Knottingley West Junction sending it towards Ferrybridge North Jn. instead of Pontefract East Jn. The driver accepted the route when he should really have queried it surely? I've checked previous posts and can't see anything related, probably because I'm the only dumbo to have done this :/ Let me know if a save is required. ..... Post has attachments. Oh dear. I've totally lost concentration and wrong-route another train and it didn't query it. 4R56 should have gone to Knottingley South Jn and Haywood Jn. I think the answer is to go and make a pot of tea :) ..... Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Log in to reply |

Of course if you have used F3 to set an autosave every few minutes you can just bin the chaos you have caused and reload a recent save so you don't have to back-track too far.

I have the saves set every 10 minutes which is sometimes quite useful and I did back-track to an earlier save, after a cup of tea of course. I had to do the same thing again later when a train was scheduled to stop in platform 1 at Wakefield Kirkgate where it formed an ECS unit and its onward journey towards Calder Bridge Jn would have been impossible. Loaded an earlier save and changed the tt to redirect it into platform 3. Unfortunately, with this timetable you can't check the schedule for an onward service before a TD change as you can with a few others. There is always the option of going into F4 to look at a TT if you know the N working from the pop-up TT generated by clicking on the existing TD on the panel. However there are also easier options available. If your loader is up to date (v5.13) when you click on a TD on the panel, the TT is displayed. If there is an N working set this displays in the TT as a hyperlink (underlined blue text). Click on that and the TT for the N working is displayed. Alternatively you can add a Sticky and type in the TD of the N working; clicking on that shows the TT for the train. As another way you can put the TD for the next working into any berth on the panel and click on it to show the TT. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 03/04/2021 at 22:44 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Regarding the scheduling of a train (2O92) into Wakefield Kirkgate P1 and not P3 that I mentioned in an earlier post, I have attached a screenshot just prior to this happening along with a second screenshot showing the next working 5O94 and its new timetable, plus saved game just before 2O92 enters P1. You'll be able to see in the second screenshot that there is no route from P1 to Calder Bridge Jn. This should help you guys with your investigation. 😊 Post has attachments. Log in to view them. It's funny as that 5O94 definitely rings a bell with me. I was probably too busy musing that I would expect it to be 5O92 (having run off 2O92) to actually notice what it was doing!

It's probably on a 'to do' list but I thought that I would mention it anyway. So, I added the reversing location and all was ok, but not entirely. When 5D92 was at signal WK8205 I set a route towards Pontefract Monkhill but the train didn't move until until the driver phoned and I told to pass the red signal. Is this normal?
