Have just purchased Plymouth as it looks like a nice little sim to play solo but I have stumbled across a most unusual problem that I've not had on any other sim that i've played. When a train passes a signal the signal post flashes and i have to cancel the route (signal doesn't come off) before i can do anything else. It is most unusual. Is this something unique to Plymouth I don't know about or a bug? I'm on a Mac running Crossover if thats relevant but I don't see how as all the other sims I own run without issue. Edit: Seems to only do it if running the sim on anything other than beginner Last edited: 05/04/2021 at 22:00 by alrispoli Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Plymouth panel is not fitted with TORR (Train Operated Route Release) in reality, so the routes staying in after the train has passed is prototypical. The flashing stem denotes that the route has been used by a train, and represents various means of indicating this on real panels. Most SimSig simulations allow TORR to be added as a start-up option where it wasn't provided in real life, hence you may not have come across its absence before. In the case of Plymouth, I believe it's provided in the easiest scenarios but not the more difficult ones. You may well find it useful to make the adjustment via 'F3' for 'right click cancels route' to save on doing lots of click - menu - click Bill Log in to reply |

Or just use Shift+Right Click to cancel routes (my preferred method), then you still have Right Click for the menu dropdowns.

Didn't know about that one, i'll give that a go as i find it useful to know the signal numbers which you can only get on the menu drop downs.
