ACI relies on ARS turned on for train category? 25/04/2021 at 15:47 #139045

Using TimTamToe's 2012 timetable and, as recommended in its notes, I've turned off ARS for Class 5 trains.

Now, when a Class 5 train reaches a terminus, ACI does not interpose the next working's headcode. Is that intentional? It's a bit of a faff to manually interpose the next headcode.

This took me by surprise, because ACI exists on sims without ARS so I thought they were not interlinked.

(named for the one in Tasmania, not in Russia)

If a train is non-ARS then it will not ACI. You've effectively told the computer "I'm dealing with this" so it stays away.
