In multiplay on EGIP, there are two Carmuirs and two Larberts still shown, both of each with the same name! (Thanks Sam for the spot0 Cheers Jamie Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

It's because Larbert Jn and Carmuirs West boxes were taken over by Larbert N and Carmuirs East respectively and the only way I could find to get the reporting right was to change the names. Yes, it does mean you get doubling up but just allocate both to the same person. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply The following user said thank you: 9pN1SEAp |

LJ control was passed to LN . In 2011 CW was passed to CE. Tbh, don't know what era of EGiP you want as Robroyston has been added on the CUB - QST line... There's so many improvements before that station was built that that it makes Central Scotland inconsistent. There are signal upgrades at Stirling and Dunblane before Robroyston was constructed. So now we have an EGIP era mixed between 2010 - present. It's so inconsistent that it's unplayable. TT might work, but no one knows what year the EGIP era is actually based on. LJ control was passed to LN . In 2011 CW was passed to CE. Larbert Junction had been abolished (just) when I did my grand tour of the boxes in 2007 (was it really that long ago) and I did not visit it, but I had the data for it and not for the extended Larbert North. Then I had the data for SAK so added that as an option. EGIP era was based on the info I had available to me at around 2015 (that's what it's called in the data), perhaps I should label it as "2015" rather than EGIP. As with a number of sims, there are some discrepancies within eras to allow some flexibility with timetables, though with CSCOT the reality moves on apace and has overtaken the Sim development. There have also been requests for earlier bits to be put in (e.g. Polmaise and Swing Bridge Jn), again if I had the data I might consider adding but that might mean adding one box and not the other (for example). If the timetables work it is hardly 'unplayable'. Althoug apparently 'EGIP' finished in 2017 (according to their website) the later alterations in and around Stirling (son of EGIP ?) would need another era each year as succesive timetables need them, at least up CV cuts. What would leaving out Robroyston achieve, except disabling more recent timetables on Cowlairs, because that is common data with CSCOT ? Bill Log in to reply The following user said thank you: TUT |
