Submitted for approval here is the King's Cross Blockade - 16th April 2021 Timetable. Please use this thread to add any comments issues or feedback on the timetable. Have a good read of the manual before you use the Timetable as it details a lot of the information needed to run this timetable. King’s Cross Service Pattern Thameslink 1TPH Cambridge 1TPH Royston Great Northern 1TPH Kings Lynn 1TPH Ely LNER 2TPH Leeds 2TPH Anglo-Scot Grand Central 2 Sunderland 2 Bradford Hull Trains 3 Hull Moorgate Service Pattern Great Northern 4TPH Welwyn Garden City 4TPH Stevenage/Hertford North St Pancras International Service Pattern Thameslink 2TPH Brighton Cambridge 2TPH Horsham Peterborough There are various driver training trains from Welwyn to Kings Cross and also a fair few ECS moves from the Three Bridges area utilising Hornsey EMU depot for maintenance. All freight is scheduled to run due to the reduced passenger timetable. Freight services and stock are accurate to the best of my knowledge/information to hand. Enjoy! Post has attachments. Hi there. I've noticed that the acceleration on the 717 and 700's are soo slow. These are listed as Intercity under Train Types although I would have thought of these as more of commuter.

Yes well the reason I did this is I compared timings from delayed trains on the day that left Moorgate 7 late. It basically didn’t make up more than 2/3 minutes. I simulated this in the sim and a train leaving Moorgate 7 late made all its time up by fins park and it simply wasn’t accurate. I wanted delays in this sim to be as they are in real life. I felt having their acceleration set to high just wasn’t realistic enough. It was done intentionally to replicate how in real life it’s not that easy to make up lost time. I set it to inter city and tested the times they made between stations and it seemed more accurate to real life and it also adds a bit more of a challenge. 6Q69 seeds at K514 (Hadley Wood Up Fast platform) and later on after departure at 05:10 wants to crossover to the SL at New Barnet to reverse via K133 at Oakleigh Park and head to Welwyn Up Sidings. Problem is due to main routes being set into auto upon loading the sim... surely I cannot pull K506 Up Fast platform starter at New Barnet to allow me to set the route required later on without causing an ACOA?

Alternatively, you can start the simulation paused, and cancel the route before unpausing. That way, the signal will not clear to green in the first place. What I will do is add a note to the manual which will remind signallers to cancel the route prior to starting the sim. Thanks for the reminder on this. Log in to reply |

Is the entry time for 5G91 an hour too early? It's sitting at Highbury Vale (as 5G92) waiting to reverse for an hour and blocking 6L69 from coming through.
