Hi, Just got this error on 2015 version as soon as a train entered from Kings Park (Cathcart) that was terminating at Newton P1 - see screenshot. The next train didn't throw an error. Does it actually work, as in setting the route? Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Hi Peter, ARS seemed reluctant to route into Newton P1 but I didn't have any actual trouble with moving the trains. I couldn't repeat the error with later trains and wasn't a show-stopper. So it's one of life's mysteries :) Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

It's not a mystery - or at least the fact behind the report is not and I've fixed that. What is a mystery is why it only does it once, it should do it for every train. ARS should not be setting the route into P1 because of this but I was curious as you'd not mentioned. Basically, the ARS code is a list of routes that are required and that lists the B route, whereas in 2015 that's blocked and you need the C route but that was not listed in the ARS code. So ARS should not set the B route (because it is inhibited) and could not set the C route because it was not listed. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! I think it’s clever enough to only give such warnings to the player once… So Jamie had the first occurrence, was warned and no route set. Second an subsequent occurrences no warning (as they’ve already been warned), and still no route set. Log in to reply |

That makes sense, especially I had been setting routes in advance of ARS and/or not noticing any unreported route-setting deficiency. Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |
