I'm not sure if i've misunderstood this, but it seems that Tondu signaller seems to 'accept' the slot 65 before it has been requested and vise versa in the opposite direction.

Shouldn't it be that, in fact, panel A can request 65 with Tondu accepting, and in the opposite direction Tondu requesting PT3468 with Panel A accepting?

I've attached a snapshot, although it would be the same for whatever game/TT is running.

There's no facility in real life to request the slots, it's all driven off of TDs being received.

There's some information in the manual covering this.

Quote:
Operational notes:
Tondu lever 65 is slotted with Port Talbot 3463. This slot should be granted as soon as you see a train description appear assuming you are in a position to accept the train.
Quote:
Tondu signal 6 is slotted by PT3468 you should grant this slow once a train description appears at Tondu.

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

Thanks Karl, i'd had a look in the manual.

It just seemed odd that in sim the panel receiving the train clicks for the slot, rather than the train sending it. But it does the job!
