Hi, Please could I ask if any thought has been given to a reworking of the layout of Horsham simulation to bring it up to date? If not please may I suggest that thought be given to doing one. The revisions would bring the layout up to date by the following: 1. Incorporating the whole of the Horsham Field Sidings ('HFS' hereafter). Trains from here enter at Horsham TC but more of the layout of the track at HFS is now circuited with each of the 6 sidings at HFS now having their own signals (nos. 1444/46/48/50/52/54) controlled from TBASC (Panel 7). 2. On the south side the current Horsham sim ends just after Rosier No.2 UWC. A modern rendition would be extended further towards Arundel to incorporate the areas previously controlled by Billingshurst, Pulborough and Amberley (whose boxes closed 17-Mar-2014) to the fringe with Arundel which is just south of South Stoke ACC LC. 3. Only a couple of minor points but: a) a UWC is missing which is known as Sharpenhurst No.3 - it is a bridleway crossing not far south of Christ's Hospital b) Vale Wood UWC and Lower Pratts UWC are, according to someone I recently spoke to, shown as MSL EUWC on the panel*. 4. The extension at the southern end mentioned above would futureproof things should a sim be built later that incorporated the West Coastway which would include the Arundel area. * Question: I know what MSL means but what does the E in EUWC stand for? Maybe rather then rework the entire simulation may I ask if a second era with the current post 2021 layout be added with the current layout being kept as pre 2021?

I admit I was a bit unclear with my post but yes that is what I meant. I didn't mean a full-blown rebuild although there would be quite a bit to add. Current post-2012 era to be 2012-2014 and the new era to be post-2014 perhaps although I don't know which came first: signalling of Horsham FS or abolition of the boxes at Pullborough, Billingshurst and Amberley. I wouldn’t worry about making alterations the sim just yet, as the layout at Horsham has just changed during the 9 day blockade and is due to change next summer with a new facing crossover and conversion of both Parsonage Road AHBs and Littlehaven Crossing Keeper to full CCTV crossings controlled by Panel 7A with the boundary between panels 7A and 7B moving from Christ’s Hospital to Parsonage Road.
