Howdy! I believe I've discovered a bug or incompatibility in the area of Banbury. This issue appears to be exclusive to the 2016 layout. When attempting to route a train from Fenny Compton, through Banbury's UBL (for an extended stop to allow other trains to pass), and continuing on through Wolvercote Jnc, I am unable to write a timetable. Could someone give me a hint or tip as to what I should be doing? Thanks! Here are some pictures below. This is a picture of Banbury in the 2016 layout. This is a picture of where I'd like to send the train via Banbury's UBL. This is a picture of alternative codes for travel between Fenny Compton and Banbury. This is a picture of alternative codes for travel between Banbury and auto-inserted Banbury Depot Jnc. It is extremely important to note that the options provided between the two previous pictures do not match. I could select UGL for Fenny Compton-Banbury, but that option isn't avialable for selection between Banbury and Banbury Depot Jn. When I choose Platform 5 between Banbury and Banbury Depot Jn, there is no Platform 5 to bring harmony between Fenny Compton and Banbury. This results in the platform at Banbury to switch between Platform 5 and UGL, neither of which suffice and bring harmony to the issue here. I've tried using Banbury Reservoir Jn and Banbury Reservoir FY as a solution but to no avail. I tried deleting the auto-inserted stations, but that didn't work either. I also tried using Banbury Signal 7134 as a solution. Is there a lack of programming within the simulation itself that is not allowing travel between Fenny Compton, Banbury UBL, and any other subsequent point towards Ayhno Jnc, exclusively within the 2016 layout? If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Last edited: 17/10/2021 at 22:06 by Newhampshires Reason: None given Log in to reply |

You're correct, it's not possible to validate a path via the Up Banbury Loop. PS - it's not a goods loop in the 2016 resignalled layout. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Newhampshires |

The platform 5 should have been UGL. Mantis 34945. In the meantime I suggest specifying platform 3 or 4 (or whatever) and adding a note to the schedule indicating it should use the UGL. SimSig Boss Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Newhampshires |

Mantis 34948 Applies to the missing signal diagram in the wiki -Addition- As a point of note, the Signalling Number diagrams are not officially produced by Simsig. There are times that a tester or a developer will have one produced prior to the sim being released. However anyone is able to produce the diagrams and this has been done before in the past. Assigning of a mantis ticket in this case is a reminder to myself as I'm happy to produce it, chances are that when I get back from my current stay away for work I will have forgotten about it Last edited: 20/10/2021 at 20:24 by y10g9 Reason: Addition Added Log in to reply The following users said thank you: ajax103, Newhampshires |
