I have train 3Q70 that records overnight the fast and slow lines between Rugby to Lichfield LL. Train in question leaves the Access Depot, stops at Rugby Platform 6 before passing Hillmorton Jn SL to FL to reverse at Signal KR9649 on the Up Main. Unfortunately this signal isn't a location within the timetable editor and only NR9165 is available on the Up Northampton. So using NR9165 all I get is timetable error and doesn't pick up the location. Could this be looked into? to Add KR9649 that will access both the Down Main and Down Northampton. Train in Question is: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:C04158/2022-01-26/detailed Aaron (AJRO) | Timetable Writer Log in to reply |

A train scheduled to reverse at 9165 will also reverse at 9649. I don't plan on any changes to Rugby (released 6 years ago).

That's understandable. Is there a way to route the train without validation errors? I used NR9165 but I get 'Other Options to use'. Seems it don't like Rugby SL 6 UNL, Hillmorton UNL UNL, Reverse RN9165, Hillmorton SL FL, Rugby DFL option.

I got it to validate using Daventry North Jn vice NR9165 (see attached photo (sorry I don't know how to insert a screenshot)). It just means having to do a manual reverse at NR9165 or KR9649 Sig and manually stepping the next location to Hilmorton Jn in the Down direction. Note also I've timed it from the Stabling Sdgs which is where we stable (DED/Colas is for on-track machines), with 10 mins on the Depot Access Line for the driver to change ends. The Rugby standing time 2306-2307, I'd tick the 'Pass' box because in reality we don't stop there as the probes are down and recording started from Hilmorton Jn. Regards, Phil. Edit:- Having run some tests, it appears trains do not step up to Depot Access Line after departing Rugby Stabling Sdgs. I tried amending the stopping position to NX and adjusting the offset to various positions but the train comes to a stand and calls up from stop board RY1002. A manual reverse is required and then a manual step up to Rugby when the train starts to move. All works well from then. As stated above a manual reverse behind NR9165 is required (pull the 'R' button on RY284 Sig to stop 3Q70 disappearing towards Daventry) and then 3Q70 heads off happily north to Lichfield.
