Hiya, thanks Bugsy. I will get this amended soon, been busy with much decorating and the like at home over the past few months so had very little time for SimSig.
Rest assured I haven't gone away, so will get this and my megga midlands chain out for release soon.

Phil
Thanks.
I must say that I'm enjoying this sim with the Crossings enabled. Made a few mistakes early on but quickly got used to things. I was surprised how little there is to do compared to the 1991 timetable. Nowhere near as many freights.

I’m playing the 2018 timetable and at around 06:30 0A47 approaches Knottingley West Jn. bound for the TMD. In this instance the train isn’t scheduled to use the reversing point at Knottingley East Jn so I route directly in via the Wagon Depot and signal FE5398.
However, at 06:35 I got a message saying that 0A47 didn’t have permission to enter the TMD. I was sure that I requested permission and that it was granted so, to check, I re-ran from an earlier save making doubly sure that I asked for permission but again I got the same message (see screenshot).

Should the timetable use the reversing point at Knottingley East Jn like the other trains bound for the TMD do?

Save at 06:30 attached

In this thread it was argued that the east end of the shed is the "correct" end, at least in BR era railway practices, and the sim seems to have been developed mostly with 80s/90s timetables in mind.

Nevertheless I would say this is a sim bug because TT writers should have the freedom to use the west end if that matches the era that is being simulated.

I definitely recall having the same issue with Knottingley TMD not being given when I tested this timetable prior to its release. I did manage to solve the problem, I believe for my own problem it was due to me entering the wrong end.

I've amended the THFO timetable to put the reversal in as mentioned by Bugsy, but signal WK8205 will still not clear. This appears to be a sim fault so can it be ticketed to be looked at on Mantis please ?
