Hey Guys, Think i am going to pull my hair out in a moment. I have tried both these threads: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/36900 https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/41318 And I STILL cannot get it to work, after trying countless different attempts. Where an earth do I go from here? The system fonts never install after clearing my registry and all known locations, restarting, running it again, everything you can imagine. The system seems to have never installed the fonts and for some reason the installer doesn't manage to do it. As a starting point, what Anti-Virus are you running on your system? Second question, in the Updates and Security window under Settings, if you click through Virus and Threat Protection to Ransomware Protection, is Controlled Folder Access On of Off?

I've just had the same issue on Windows 11. Windows Defender is running but has not found or quarantined any files. Controlled Folder Access is off. It looks like the SimSig installer was updated to 5.17.2 today - I suspect there's something missing. The loader only installed the below files: Quote: PS C:\Games\SimSig> ls Log in to reply |

That is expected, the other files are now included in SimSigLoader.exe, except for the font which is in C:\Windows\Fonts. On new installations this is only SIMSIGv2.fon as SIMSIG.fon is only needed for old simulations that are no longer available for download. AJP in games Log in to reply |

Hi JasmeowTheCat if you download the installer from the website again you should hopefully be good to go. Don't forget to use the Check for Updates button in the loader after you first install to make sure you have all the latest stuff.

Thanks for updating the installer! The link "Download SimSig" in the menu at the top now gives an error, it presumably needs to be updated to point to the new file. (The file can be found through "Browse Downloads" ) AJP in games Last edited: 28/11/2021 at 17:01 by Albert Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Orffen |

Sorry everyone - yes the font and a DLL were missing from the installer. I've now fixed that and uploaded a new version. If you're already running SimSig ok, there is no need to run the newer installer. It's just needed for users who have never installed SimSig before.
