Trains Entering at Drax 30/11/2021 at 17:04 #142647

Hello,

Whilst playing the West Yorkshire sim I kept wondering why trains kept arriving at Drax Branch Junction Early! So I watched one from the point of Entry at D1 signal and the train entered running at 55mph. Having gone into Drax more times than I care to remember at the point that trains enter on Ferrybridges Panel. The trains are still on Drax Power Stations infrastructure and should be travelling at 15mph as per the Method of Work and Sectional appendix on the Drax P.S/NR Boundry. About 10 or so yards on the NR Side there is a speed board for 55mph about a mile after that line speed drops to 40 then 30mph. I don't yet think I have met anyone who who has attained 55mph on the branch with a train behind them.

Noticed the same on the York North/South Sim for traffic coming Eaglescliffe and the 20mph Heavy Axle Weight restriction for Yarm Viaduct is not simulated for trains generating over RA9 on TOPS. I appreciate that in the development stage that this information might not be known about.

Thanks,
Zero Delta Zero Seven
