Does anyone know a fix for this? I have placed the timetables in the correct location but they aren't showing on the loader. Possibly timetable or loader version clashes???

Possibly timetable or loader version clashes???If I am thinking correctly it is probably there but not labelled as you would expect. The TT writer has used the file name Royston All Mainline Fail 2.WTT which should be the file showing in your TT location on your system. However, the loader does not read the file name when listing the TTs available for a sim; rather it uses the Timetable Name shown on the front tab when you open the TT in sim. I can't remember the exact mechanics but the TT will fill the Timetable Name box with the File Name in due course; however for a first save the Timetable Name will show as Royston Custom Timetable. When you load the sim, if you see a Royston Custom Timetable in the list of TTs available, that will probably be the one you have just downloaded. You can show the correct name for future sessions if you replace "Royston Custom Timetable" with the correct TT name in the Timetable Name box then re-save the TT. Edit: The downloaded TTs are not in current SimSig TT format. They are in the old style WTT/WTR format as for the .exe SimSig simulations. Rather than following the notes above, you can get the TTs to work by carrying out the following procedure. 1) Open the sim with no TT selected. 2) Click on the Hamburger Menu (3 horizontal lines) > Timetable > Open (merge with current). 3) Select the TT you wish to run. 4) OK the "TT merged successfully" box that pops up. 5) Click on the Hamburger Menu (3 horizontal lines) > Timetable > Save As then save the TT. This will save the TT in conventional format and allow you to select it when you load the sim in future. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 22/03/2022 at 18:37 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: apache668 |

The real filename and full location is shown at the bottom of the 'Description of Selected Timetable' part when loading a timetable. It is is very small blue italic font, and depending on your screen resolution may be illegible. Log in to reply |

Bill You were posting while I was typing my edit. The downloaded TTs are not in the conventional zipped archive format with 2 XML files and do not show in the list of TTs when opening the sim. You can access them following the merge TT procedure but that is the only way I've found so far to get at them. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 22/03/2022 at 14:06 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: apache668 |

The files are in the old SimSig file binary convention. It can be converted to the newer convention (XMLs in a zip) by following Postal's instructions.
