Hi, I can't see the loop length in the manual, please could you advise the usable length of this? (map suggests about 30ch). Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Trackmaps shows the pointwork at 20m 50cm and 20m 04ch respectively so 800m seems about right. Satellite view shows that the distance between neck buffers is 0.6mi. You'll be wanting to log a fault with your signalling provider Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Guts in post 146361 said:According to my screen it should be 1660mEven taking into account your screen is post-resignalling and the sim is pre-resignalling, it's still wrong! Satellite views in 2006 and 2021 show no difference in loop length (+/- a handful of metres, perhaps). SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

I wouldn’t recommend it - they wouldn’t fit

I can confirm it is as mentioned previously by Stephen Kings Langley Loop [794mtr/2604ft = 124 SLU] and is still the same length pre & post-resignalling. Aaron (AJRO) | Timetable Writer Last edited: 04/05/2022 at 19:08 by HST125Scorton Reason: None given Log in to reply |
