I incorrectly had CQ54 signal in auto. I was waiting for it to stop and question the route when it took the route. I've now had to reverse the train. This is prototypical for Edinburgh trains as they can and will use E&G Main as diversionary without query (as described in manual). It however means that Cumbernauld trains also won't query. Your best bet is to run it to Falkirk Grahamston, then run ECS in and out of the reversal point past Grangemouth Jn and send back calling at FKG and CUB. As the wrong route forces the train to miss booked calls, it should still be challenged by the driver- the easement in the manual refers only to non-stop trains the two Falkirk stations. Mantis 36365 raised

Even though it's a diversion, We still challenge being routed main line rather than around the chord, UNLESS we've been told already prior to departure. Coming the other way, we'd be checked at Greenhill lower if we weren't already advised at FKG. CUB services would challenge the route. I'm just trying to confirm the FKK and FKG diversion for the E&Gs, This easement was removed a few years ago. But now that it's all wired on both sides I'm unsure if it's back in or not. The 2J84 in the save, can be turned in the DPL at Eastfield and go around the west junctions to SPR and carry on with the delay. As a compromise the sim could check if POLMNTJ is a trip location (and thus it's likely to be an EDB/GLQ) and only not query if that's the case. It doesn't cover all cases but otherwise there'd be a lot of condition testing. Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Last edited: 02/07/2022 at 08:30 by 9pN1SEAp Reason: None given Log in to reply |

The same would apply to my 1993 timetables which although using '1990's' era the trains are still reversing in Eastfield DPL as booked. Chord came into use September 1993. Adds to the difficulty of setting up robust wrong route logic. Bill Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Guts |
